The BLM has has just issued its latest management plan for the Moab area. Now it's your turn to talk back!

The Moab Field Office of the BLM has just issued its latest draft resource management plan and environmental impact statement for agency lands in the Moab area. Actually, there are four proposed plans in all, and you can view them here:

As part of the process of refining the draft into a final plan, a 90-day public comment period is required before the agency proceeds to the next stage of the process.

So take a look at the draft---and be patient, it's lengthy---and send your feedback to UT_Moab_Comments@blm.gov. Our advice? Be respectful and courteous, and state your reasons for what you like or dislike. If you have alternative ideas, be sure to share them too. But however you respond, be sure to speak up for your rights to keep our Moab trails open to vehicular access.
