We just picked up our newest project vehicle, a brand new, fully loaded 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited - what should we call it?
Hey guys, we are pretty excited to announce our newest project vehicle, a brand new 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited 6-speed. We picked it up from the dealer with 9 miles on it. It is fully loaded and Red Rock in color, we have some exciting plan for the newest member of the Wrangler family. Unlike the wildness or aspirational qualities of Teal-J, we are planning on making this more of a real world build - for now. We plan on showing the flexibility of the JK platform by creating a vehicle that is as comfortable to commute in as it is pulling weekend warrior duties on the trail. It is also going to be something that anyone should reasonably be able to build with a minimal impact on your new vehicle warranty and make the Rubicon a better wheeler without taking away from it. For the build-up we are talking lift, 35s, gears, DOT-legal beadlocks, protection, performance upgrades, winch, OBA - all of the things you would expect from a project vehicle, showcasing some of the best products the industry currently has to offer. With the mission of the build being said, here are some of the names we've been kicking around (we want something that embodies the daily driver nature of the build, the adventure aspect, the four-door, etc.):
Project Trail J(K)
Project 4xDoor
Project Unlimited Adventure
Project Weekend Wheeler
Project Funlimited
Project Dirt Wrangler
Project Trail Taxi
Shoot me an e-mail or post a comment and tell us what you think. If you have a better idea and we choose it, I'll send you some stickers and a plate.
