CUCV M1008 5/4-ton Military Truck
|
Posted May 3 2012 12:43 PM by John Cappa
I'd been looking for a good one for months. Most of the M1008 military trucks I found were too pricy, too far out of state, or too far gone (rough shape). Then this one popped up on Craigslist just 60 miles from my...

|
Posted March 24 2012 02:00 AM by John Cappa

|
Posted March 10 2012 08:30 PM by John Cappa
Well, when was the last time you greased or even checked the wheel bearings on your trailer? I have been getting ready for Moab Easter Jeep Safari whenever I can find some extra time. Today I gave the Four Wheeler Carson...

Smittybilt Universal Lumber Rack
|
Posted February 28 2012 03:30 AM by John Cappa
Before: I never thought I would ever find a lumber rack for my '73 Jeep J-2000. It's not exactly a common truck nowadays. Anyway, I reluctantly ordered up a Smittybilt universal lumber rack (PN 18604) thinking it would...

|
Posted January 31 2012 08:15 AM by John Cappa
Finding trailer parts locally can be a huge aggravation. You could stop at 10 different stores and still not be able to get exactly what you are looking for. Well, I quit all that a long time ago when I found...

Best Oil Filler Ever
|
Posted January 29 2012 02:22 PM by John Cappa
I hate some of the oil filler caps used on newer vehicles. They are usually too small or so deep down in the engine bay that you spill half the oil you're trying to put in. One of my favorites is the cap and filler found...

4x4 Work Truck
|
Posted January 21 2012 07:55 AM by John Cappa
I like my 4x4 pickups to remain functional. Not only do they have to motor up tough trails, they have to be able to haul tree branches to the dump or pick up greasy drivetrain parts from the local wrecking yard. I...

|
Posted January 11 2012 03:00 AM by John Cappa
Just about every state in the Union has to worry about vehicle rust in one form or another. But obviously a 4x4 body and frame will last decades longer in Arizona than it would in Michigan.
